The butterfly farm is in Tacana , Leticia. This has proved an ideal situation for touring the area as the butterfly farm is in close proximity of unspoilt forest, also rich in Butterflies including the stunning Blue Morpho species.
We will undertake daily trips into the rain forest to view a different location every day. Our guides are local Bora (indigenous rain forest people) who live and work in the forest. |

In Iquitos we visit the Pilpintuwasi butterfly farm, the only butterfly farm in Peru and see the rearing of Morphos , Helicons , Owl Moths, Swallow tails and many other butterflies.
Our expert local guides will take you through the large butterfly house and the nurseries.
